BLAMING GAME

Blaming others flaws and flops is a time passing game to many of us. I was asked, what I was doing in the leisure hours. My reply was, “chatting with my friends”. If the other was not satisfied in my reply and curious to know about the subject of our chat, and I was open minded to him, what would have been the answer? It is sure as death; ‘the matter was a gossip on some one’. If there is no serious subject for debate, the subject intruded would often be gossip. Irrespective of the cast, creed, culture and the position of the person, it is an interesting subject to discuss, ‘blaming others’. It can be harmful and harmless like the bite of a rat snake or a cobra. Many of the incidents we gossip to others would be true facts, but we unnecessarily but deliberately emphasize them with a tone of hyperbole. No gossip is absolutely false, they are spiced half-truths. They might be truths that one should not have disclosed to avoid unnecessary propaganda. Flashing of the news might impair the good name of somebody. On disclosing, the orator gets a feeling of contention. An unknown mitigation, feelings of unloading a heavy head load! All the gossipers are not the foes of the subject of tarnishment; probably he would be a well-wisher too!

Do you know the wonderful miracle that the news of a gossip one conveyed to another, would reach to the ears of the subject under reference, within no time, that too with an added spice, however trust worthy he was. Don’t boggle; it is a true fact, haven’t you felt so.
